Dobby is such a nice character. Despite his appereance as a shy and submitted elf he does have deep feelings and motivations and above all a certain wish for freedom which is really uncommon among those of his race.He acts as a sort of coscience for Harry Potter since he wants to show him his loyal friendship and gratitude. He deeply cares about him, and he shows his respect and affection in teh bast way he cans. I think everybody would love to have such a particular friend!
